At last, we have received word that Microsoft has rolled out a firmware update for their hot selling piece of wearable technology that is known as the Microsoft Band. Of course, this particular update was not a major one, but still, an update is an update, don’t you think so? The most recent update released was accompanied by a dozen new guided workouts that enabled users to download onto the Microsoft Health application.
Microsoft mentioned, “Starting January 15, users of Microsoft Health and Microsoft Band will receive their first major content update: an influx of new Guided Workouts to help meet their New Year’s fitness goals, which include workouts from best-selling fitness author Mark Rippetoe (“Starting Strength”).”
But of course – after all, what better way to start off a new year (granted, we are more than two weeks in already) than to have a workout program that you are able to follow? The most recent update will target users already, and if you haven’t been able to download it yet, perhaps being a bit more patient would be a good thing. How many of you out there already own the $199 Microsoft Band, and how has this device changed your life (for the better) so far?
