Lumia 435 Is Very Real After All

It was earlier this week that we saw the Lumia 435 pop up on a page over at Brazil’s regulating agency, ANATEL (which is the equivalent of the FCC over here in the US), and were wondering just what kind of smartphone would this be? Thankfully, we did not have to wait for too long, as all has been revealed with the official announcement of the Lumia 435. Similar to the newly released Lumia 532, the Lumia 435 will arrive in single-SIM and dual-SIM models. While it does share similar design cues with that of the Lumia 532, there are some minor differences to look out for – as well as the hardware specifications too, of course.

The Lumia 435 will arrive with a 4” LCD display with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution, run on a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, has 1GB RAM, accompanied by 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded by another 128GB thanks to a microSD memory card slot. The camera at the back will be just a 2MP shooter – making it far less performance oriented as opposed to the Lumia 532, while there is a VGA selfie camera.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, while a 1,560mAh battery would keep it chugging. Expect the Lumia 435 to be launched across select markets in Europe, the Middle East, India, Asia-Pacific and Africa from February onward, where it will retail for €69 prior to taxes and subsidies.
