Microsoft is rumored to be working on a new Lumia smartphone. Apparently the next one is called Lumia 1330. The company itself is quiet on the issue as it hasn’t confirmed or denied any rumors about this device, but that’s pretty common behavior for smartphone manufacturers. Today, on the first day of 2015, we get to see what is claimed to be the Microsoft Lumia 1330 in its leaked pictures.
The pictures have come out of China and while they don’t confirm anything about the device, we do get an idea about its general size and design. It looks pretty much the same as far as the design language of the Lumia lineup goes, one major difference is that these devices are now been manufactured under the Microsoft moniker, because Nokia sold its devices business to Microsoft back in 2014.
According to rumors the Lumia 1330 has a 5.70-inch HD OLED display, a Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 quadcore processor with 1GB RAM and Cat4 LTE. A 14.1 megapixel rear camera with Zeiss optics and 5 megapixel front facing camera are also rumored.
This smartphone is obviously going to be powered by the latest version of Windows Phone. So far it hasn’t been said when we can expect this device to hit the market. Who knows when Microsoft is planning to make an announcement.
