Given Samsung’s rivalry with their South Korean brethren LG, we guess we can’t say we’re too surprised to learn that LG has something similar as well. While LG will not be launching their own version of the Galaxy Note Edge, the company apparently had a similar piece of technology on display at CES 2015.
The prototype was shown off behind closed doors, but thanks to Korean website inews24, they managed to snag a photo of it as you can see in the image above. The prototype shown is similar to the Galaxy Note Edge, however the main difference is that both sides of the phone’s edges are curved, versus the Galaxy Note Edge in which only one side was curved.
Dubbed the 6-inch HD Active Bending phone, it reportedly features a P-AMOLED display with a HD resolution which is admittedly less impressive than the Galaxy Note Edge’s 2560×1440 resolution. No word on whether LG plans on making this phone a reality or if they’re simply showing off their technology, but what do you guys think? Would you want such a device?
