According to MyLGPhones, they were sent in a tip by one of their tipsters who pointed them at the LG User Agent Profile. According to the UAProf, it mentions a certain device that goes by the model number LG-VS999 and according to the data, it will come with a 2880×1620 display, which effectively makes it a 3K display.
Considering that the LG VS985 is Verizon’s version of the LG G3, there is a good chance that the LG-VS999 could be the LG G4, unless of course either the information is wrong, or LG has another high-end handset in the works. Unfortunately apart from its display, not much else is known about the handset, apart from its potential arrival on Verizon’s network.
Last we heard, the LG G4 has been pegged for a release in Q2 2014 meaning that we might not be able to see the device at MWC 2015. Then again the LG G3 was released in the middle part of 2014, so we expect that LG would want to give it at least a year or close to a year before releasing a successor. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think of a 3K display?
