For the past two years LG’s flagship Android devices have been very well received. The G2 and G3 cemented LG’s position as a company that can make impressive smartphones so there’s a lot of expectation from the LG G4. It may be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona this March and while details are thin at this time, rumor has it that this smartphone is going to have a 16 megapixel camera and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood.
Its hard to doubt that the Snapdragon 810 will be present. This Qualcomm processor will be present in many high-end smartphones this year like the ones from Samsung and HTC, while there have been rumors about shipment delays due to this processor’s overheating issues, Qualcomm insists that they’re on track.
LG G3 came with a 13 megapixel camera that could hold its own against rivals from the likes of Apple and Samsung. A report out of Greece suggests that the LG G4 will have an updated module with 16 megapixels and further improvements that will enhance the imaging quality on this smartphone.
The report also claims that LG G4 will have 3GB of RAM aiding the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood. Android 5.0 Lollipop may come installed right out of the box.
LG hasn’t confirmed or denied anything about its upcoming flagship so we really do have to wait until MWC 2015 to find everything out for sure.
