Assuming the reports and numbers are accurate, it has been found that LG’s smartphone sales have seen a 25% year-on-year increase compared to 2013. The reports are crediting the LG G3 for helping to boost the company’s sales, and given that the LG G3 was launched in the middle of the year with only 6 months left in 2014, it is a pretty impressive feat if it is true.
LG has since launched variants of the LG G3 which have also said to help contribute to the company’s increased smartphone sales. That being said with the LG G4’s rumored specs being somewhat impressive, we can only imagine that this trend of increased sales will only continue for the South Korean company.
We are probably still several months away from the LG G4 being officially unveiled, but in the meantime LG has recently announced the LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015 which will hopefully be able to tide the company over until their next flagship has been announced.
