LG G Flex 2 To Make Its Way Onto US Cellular As Well

The LG G Flex 2 was officially announced at CES 2015 and if you liked what you saw and you’re interested in getting your hands on the device, you’ve probably heard that the handset will be making its way onto carriers such as AT&T and Sprint. However if you don’t use either carrier and don’t plan to, you might also be interested to learn that US Cellular will be carrying the device as well.

The is according to a confirmation made by a US Cellular spokesperson who claimed that the carrier would be offering the LG G Flex 2 this summer, but unfortunately pricing and a specific release date was not mentioned, although to be fair AT&T and Sprint have no mentioned pricing or a specific release date in their announcements either.

Now for those of you who might have missed our announcement, here’s a quick recap on what you can expect from the LG G Flex 2. The phone will feature 5.5-inch curved Full HD P-OLED display. This is actually smaller than the original LG G Flex which featured a 6-inch HD display, but its smaller display and higher resolution should result in sharper images.

It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz and will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage expandable via microSD, a 13MP rear-facing camera with OIS and laser auto focus, a 2.1MP front-facing camera, a 3,000mAh battery, and will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop. It will be available in red and silver, although the “Volcano Red” option will be an exclusive to Sprint.
