LG G Flex 2 Could Be Priced Cheaper Than Its Predecessor

Last year when LG released the LG G Flex, it came with a price tag that was surprisingly rather pricey for a device with its specs. We suppose it had the added novelty of it having a curved display, but other than that there were better phones to be had for that money. Well if you were wondering the LG G Flex 2 would be similarly priced, there is a good chance it could be priced a little bit more affordably.

This is according to a listing on Amazon.de where the phone has been listed at 599 EUR (which usually translates – not converts – to around $600). This would essentially make the phone $100 cheaper than its predecessor, although it still isn’t exactly cheap per se. Then again the LG G Flex 2 does pack some pretty impressive hardware specs so perhaps it could be a justifiable purchase for you.

Just as a quick recap for those who might have missed our coverage of the handset at CES 2015, the LG G Flex 2 will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD Curved P-OLED display. This is actually 0.5-inches smaller than its predecessor which should help with the overall image sharpness.

It will be powered by a 2.0GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core CPU and will be accompanied by 2GB of DDR4 RAM, 16/32GB storage options, a 13MP rear-facing camera with OIS and laser autofocus, a 2.1MP front-facing camera, a 3,000mAh non-removable battery, and will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop preinstalled.
