HP Set To Reveal A Couple Of New Tablets

HP is not about to give up on the tablet market just yet – no sir, in fact, they have a couple of new tablets in the pipeline – where one of them would sport Android as the mobile operating system of choice, while the other would run on the Windows platform. Despite both of these upcoming devices sporting different operating systems, it is touted that the remainder of the hardware specifications would be more or less similar. And just what are their names? They would be the HP Slate Pro 10 and HP Pro Tablet 10.

Regardless of which particular model that you decide to pick up, they will both feature an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core Bay Trail processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory. Of course, their display would have to live up to their respective namesakes, as each will sport a 10.1” display, accompanied by 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity.

Why the suffix “Pro” at the end of their names? Well, this is because of a stylus which HP has thrown into the mix, letting you write or draw on the display. Both tablets will feature passive pens that interact with the displays in the same manner as your fingers. Word has it that there will be models with 3G capabilities hitting Europe, although it remains to be seen whether the rest of the world will receive such models or not.
