Google Now displays a ton of cards that provides the user with information that Google thinks you might be interested in. It’s handy and incredibly useful as it can track your packages, remind you of flights, the weather, currency exchange, translation while you’re on holiday, sports updates, the latest news, and so on.
However if there is one “boring” feature, it would be that the background of Google Now is pretty static as users aren’t able to change it. Well the good news is that it looks like this is an area of Google Now that Google is looking to fix. According to Ausdroid, it seems that Google is making some changes to Google Now where the header images will now show more contextually relevant photos based on your location.
Prior to this, Google Now had images that depicted the city you are in and would change depending on the time of day. However as you can see in the images above, Google has updated Google Now where it actually displays photos of your city in different settings depending on the time of day.
These changes only seem to apply to cities like Miami and Sydney, but presumably Google plans on rolling it out to more cities in the future. In the meantime what do you guys think? Like what you see?
