I am quite sure that those of us who sleep extremely late each night, catching forty winks is a luxury. In fact, trying to wake up in the morning would more often than not result in us hitting the snooze function – just so that we are able to catch another five minutes’ worth of sleep. You can never tell just how precious those additional few minutes are. Well, how about snoozing when your Gmail inbox is concerned? That does not sound quite right, but this is exactly what has happened.
Gmail has received the snooze function for its inbox. Imagine when you are in a place that is too inconvenient to read or reply whatever emails that are waiting for you, or should you need to focus on a different task at the moment, then snooze those emails – so that you can attend to them later on without running the risk of forgetting.
In Inbox, you are able to snooze using the convenient quick options, or to opt by setting a custom time. Inbox will work according to your preferences, and it can be adjusted its quick options to match. There are moments when it makes more sense to snooze one’s email to a place rather than time – although this would mean that Google would have another reason to keep track of its users.
