Our smartphones these days, especially if you own the higher-end models, are pretty good at taking photos. In fact recently on Flickr it was discovered that Apple’s brand had actually surpassed that of Nikon, a company who specializes and has had a long history in making cameras.
That being said we understand if some of you would prefer a dedicated camera. Well if you are, you might be interested to learn that Fujifilm has recently announced the XQ2, the latest camera is Fujifilm’s premium X series of cameras and according to Fujifilm, its smallest one in the lineup as well.
The Fujifilm XQ2 will feature a 12MP 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor. It will also feature a built-in 25-100mm lens with an aperture of f/1.8-4.9 which is actually pretty decent as it will allow photographers to snap photos quickly even in low light settings. The images are processed by the EXR Processor II and will come with a 3-inch LCD display.
Its ISO range is from 100-12,800 and will be able to support wireless transfer of photos via an accompanying app and its built-in WiFi. The camera will also come with a host of built-in filters and effects and will also be able to record videos in Full HD mode. It is expected to be made available this February for $399.95.
