Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Hopefully there will not be too much shaming done as we hear of cases involving the sales of an Apple Watch prototype on eBay. In fact, there was one particular case where the person actually bid $260 for what has been described to be a “prototype” Apple Watch, and hopefully there will be enough good Samaritans around to warn the bidder that this is nothing but a fake.
I suppose the presence of an Apple logo located at the back of this alleged Apple Watch prototype is there for one simple reason – to fool as many people as possible. Not only that, the seller actually laid claim that this particular unit was obtained by a cousin who allegedly works at Apple. Boy, is the alleged cousin going to be in so much trouble if this were to be an actual prototype in the first place!
Thankfully, this particular purchase will be protected by eBay’s money back guarantee, although there might be some amount of waiting and paperwork that needs to be done beforehand. All in all, this is but a fake “Made in China” Apple Watch knockoff, so you might want to exercise more caution and common sense when going through what seems to be an unbelievable deal on eBay.
