Dropbox is an app we’re sure many smartphone/tablet owners have downloaded onto their handsets and tablet devices, and while the apps for iOS and Android have been around for a while, oddly enough Dropbox for Windows Phone has been missing for quite sometime, at least until now.
For Windows Phone users or Windows tablet users who were wondering where the Dropbox app is or if it will ever be coming for their platform, you will be pleased to learn that the app is finally here. Dropbox’s arrival onto Windows Phone and Windows tablets was announced last year November, so we guess it didn’t take too long for the app to be released.
The app will bring pretty much the same features that iOS and Android users have come to enjoy, such as automatic photo backups, accessing your files both online and offline, and multi-account syncing for those who have accounts for work and personal use. The Windows Phone version will also allow users to pin specific Dropbox folders on their Start screens for quick access.
The app should be available for download so if you’d rather not rely on third-party apps and services for your Dropbox needs, you can head on over to the Windows Phone Store for the free download.
