We are looking at a thickness of just 0.6”, where it tips the scales at a mere 2.6 pounds and will run on a 5th-gen Intel Core Broadwell processor. Despite the remarkably thin form factor, do not think for an instance that the Dell XPS 13 is a pushover – this Ultrabook will still come with a high resolution 13.3” display with a thin bezel (which Dell has dubbed it as a “borderless infinity display”), a long battery life to keep you working through the day, a choice of 4GB or 8GB RAM, and whether you want to start off with 128GB SSD or go all the way to a 512GB SSD.
The 13.3” display will also come with a 1920 x 1080 pixel screen by default, or you can always pony up more dough for a stunning 3200 x 1800 pixel touchscreen. Regardless of your choice, both will be IPS screens with 170 degree viewing angles and 400-nit brightness. Connectivity options include WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, with a pair of USB 3.0 ports, a mini DisplayPort, and an SD memory card slot rounding off its specifications. Do expect to pony up at least $800 for the Dell XPS 13.
