Dell Venue 8 7000 Series Offers A Visual Feast

venue-8-7000[CES 2015] Where tablets are concerned, there are dime a dozen models out there in the market. The thing is, which particular model would you pick from to suit your needs? That can be a very difficult question to answer, depending on your needs. However, here we are with the Dell Venue 8 7000 Series which was first unveiled at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in September 2015, where one can now pick it up online via Dell, as well as at select Best Buy stores as mentioned yesterday.

To recap, the Dell Venue 8 7000 Series would offer its fair share of claimed ‘firsts’, including being based on the Intel Atom processor Z3500 series, not to mention it being touted as the world’s thinnest tablet at 6mm, while sporting a 2560 x 1600 OLED infinity edge-to-edge display that will definitely blow your eyes out of their sockets when you take a look at it.

Apart from that, the Dell Venue 8 7000 Series also happens to be the first to integrate the Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera, where it is capable of capturing a depth map for every picture shot. Working in tandem with the Dell Gallery application, people will be able to have additional flexibility when editing photos thanks to selective filtering and refocus functions, while customers can also perform a simple linear or area measurements with a photo.

The presence of Dell Gallery helps users to organize photos into smart albums and gather photos from the likes of Dropbox, Picasa and Facebook into a single place. These will then be sorted automatically into smart albums via parameters such as timeline, geography or facial recognition.
