Netflix has made no secret of continuing with original programming. The company has already invested hundreds of millions of dollars into such projects and some of its original series have actually become quite popular, House of Cards is a perfect example. One of the most highly anticipated projects was Marvel’s Daredevil, exclusive to this online streaming giant, and today it has finally been confirmed when the Daredevil Netflix premiere will take place.
We reported a couple of weeks back that Netflix has as many as eight original series lined up for 2015, including one that moved from a major television network, the upcoming series cover all genres.
Netflix is not traditional in the sense that it releases all episodes of a new series on one day so that subscribers can binge-watch when they like, how many times they like. That’s exactly what its going to do with Daredevil.
We had known previously that this new series will premiere at some point in April 2015. The confirmation has come in today. Netflix will offer all 13 hour-long episodes for streaming on April 10th. Daredevil will be available for subscribers in every territory that Netflix is currently available in.
Starring in the lead role is Charlie Cox of Boardwalk Empire fame. This series has been inspired from Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.’s Man Without Fear comic book.
