[CES 2015] Never judge a book by its cover – well, when it comes to digital cameras, there are dime a dozen models out there in the market, so one would have to make a wise choice before dropping some serious coin to bring one home. Most of the time, folks are on the lookout for something that can offer them the best bang for their hard earned buck – and I do not suppose that the Canon PowerShot SX610 HS would be able to fit most criteria on everyone’s checklist where an affordable yet able performing digital camera is concerned.
First of all, the Canon PowerShot SX610 HS digital camera will come with Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, which is pretty much similar to the Canon PowerShot SX710 HS that we talked about earlier on. Apart from that, the Power Shot SX610 HS camera will sport a powerful 18x Optical Zoom lens (equivalent to 25-450mm), where it will merge a 20.2MP CMOS sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 4+ Image Processor in order for it to deliver the Canon HS System that paves the way for excellent low-light performance.
There is an Auto Zoom mode which can be enabled, letting the camera to automatically frame the subject of a shot through zooming in and out so that a crisp, clear image with pin-sharp focus can be produced. Expect the PowerShot SX610 HS digital camera to arrive next month in red, white or black shades for $249.99 each. [Press Release]
