Beware, The Lego SHIELD Helicarrier Is Coming

I am quite sure that many of us who have watched the Avengers, as well as other Marvel films that have the Helicarrier in there, would have been more than impressed with the architectural design and grandeur of it all. Having said that, since Lego has always been the plaything that allows the imagination of a child (and adult, of course) to go wild, here is one more to add to your Christmas wishlist – heck, any normal wishlist would do now, as waiting until Christmas might be a killer for some, in the form of the Lego SHIELD Helicarrier.

This is no unicorn for sure, as it is real and extremely amazing, but you will also need to brace yourself when it comes to purchasing it since the Lego SHIELD Helicarrier is not going to come cheap with a sticker price of $349.99 attached to it. The entire Lego SHIELD Helicarrier (76042) would see a 2,996 piece count and best of all is, it will arrive with five different Avengers minifigs in addition to a dozen all-new super detailed microfigures when it hits the market officially this coming March 1st.

Needless to say, we have seen our fair share of brilliant DIY projects using Lego, such as this Lego Braille Printer, but the SHIELD Helicarrier above is one example of an awesome kit as well.
