AT&T Offers Unlimited Calling To Mexico

AT&T customers who need to make calls to Mexico frequently are about to save a lot of money. The second largest mobile network in the country has announced today that it is now offering unlimited calling to Mexico. This was to be expected given the fact that just last week AT&T acquired Iusacell, a wireless carrier based in Mexico.

Iusacell is Mexico’s third largest wireless network and AT&T picked up for $2.5 billion. Last week the acquisition process was formally closed so it makes sense that AT&T is now making use of its investment.

Customers just need the AT&T World Connect Value package, a $5 add-on to the postpaid plan, so that they can make unlimited cals to any number in Mexico. This includes both landline and mobile numbers. Those who already have the Connect Value add-on will benefit from this automatically.

David Christopher, the chief marketing officer at AT&T Mobility said that Mexico is the most frequently dialed country among the carrier’s wireless customers so now they can call as much as they want with the World Connect Value package. This add-on also provides subscribers with a low-rate on international calls from the U.S. to over 225 countries.

The AT&T World Connect Value package is also available to those who have Wireless Home Services.
