Well according to 9to5Mac, they have heard from their sources that Apple could be planning on launching the Apple Watch in March, and that retail training to get employees up to speed on the device will begin mid-February. This obviously contradicts an earlier rumor which suggested a release on Valentines Day.
However it also supports an alleged memo by Apple’s SVP of Retail Angela Ahrendts where she stated that the device would be launched in the spring after the Chinese New Year, which is kicking off on the 19th of February. Apple has reportedly been hard at work polishing up the Watch OS as well as extensively testing the watch’s battery life.
Last we heard, charging the Apple Watch on a daily basis was inevitable, but hopefully Apple has improved it in such a way that we can expect a long day’s use, as opposed to the watch dying midday. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us at a later date for the details.
