Thanks to a recent survey conducted by Quartz, it has been revealed that 2.2% of iPhone owners are “extremely likely” to buy an Apple Watch, while 3.2% say that they are “very likely” to get one. This is followed by 14.3% who say they’re “somewhat likely”, and 18.9% who say “not so likely”, and the remaining 61.4% who state that they have no such intentions.
This is compared to another poll that revealed that 10% of iPhone customers were ‘very likely” to get the Apple Watch. However we should note that this poll was conducted based purely on US-based iPhone users, while the other poll was based on surveys conducted in various parts of the world, but either way percentages of 2.2% and 10% aren’t exactly very high.
The Apple Watch is priced at $350 for the base model which could account for some resistance by customers, but perhaps when it is launched and when the reviews come in, those numbers could change (for the better/worse), but in the meantime are you planning on getting the Apple Watch yourself?
