Another day, another smartphone that is being prepared to be released. This time around we have seen the ZTE Star 2 appear in its glory from just about any and every angle – and it does look as though ZTE is aiming for the stars, pardon the pun, with the ZTE Star 2 looking as though it would nestle itself comfortably into the premium market.
In terms of hardware specifications, the ZTE Star 2 will run on a Snapdragon 801 SoC, which has been clocked at 2.5GHz. Apart from that, there will also be 3GB RAM to keep it company, without any mention of whether an SD memory card slot will be part of the deal. We do know, however, that the ZTE Star 2 will arrive with a 5.5″ display with Full HD resolution, where it comes housed in a chassis that measures 154mm x 77mm x 9.8mm, and is made out of aluminium while having Android 4.4.4 KitKat run right out of the box – with a ZTE skinned launcher, of course.
In terms of the cameras available, there will be an 8MP shooter in front for selfie lovers, while at the back lies a 13MP main camera which in all probability will arrive with a Sony Sensor and what could very well be a dual-tone LED.
