Xbox One Price Cut Set To Cease In Early January
All good things must come to an end, and so the same applies to the Xbox One with its accompanying temporary price cut of $50 for the holiday seasons this year, where it will spill over a wee bit to the next – more specifically, January 3, 2015. It must be noted that this $50 price cut was announced in late October this year, where the “festivities” of the situation kicked off on November 2nd this year. This particular deal was a blanket one – where it applies to the entire slew of consoles and bundles, which saw the Kinect-free systems price drop to $349, while as for the rest of the bundles, they would be priced anywhere between $349 and $449.
In fact, one cannot help but think that it was because of this particular promotion specifically that saw the Xbox One outsell its rival, the PlayStation 4 (by a small margin, I might add) over in the the U.K. and U.S. during the month of November. Do take into consideration that this particular price drop will be available at “most major national retailers” at this point in time, while a large number of stores happen to offer online-only deals.
