2014 is almost over. The new year is just around the corner and most of us want to welcome 2015 with a bang. Microsoft certainly wants to do that because it has detailed Xbox Games with Gold for January 2015, and in the company’s own words, the offering for January 2015 “really, really takes the cake so far.”
Xbox Games with Gold is a program that is part and parcel of the Xbox Live Gold membership. Members are given access to free games each month for their Xbox console through this program and Microsoft has a good offering for January 2015 as it rings in the new year on the back of strong Xbox One sales.
Free games will be offered across Xbox One and Xbox 360. The former gets D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die and the latter gets MX vs. ATV Alive apart from a RPG known as The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. These games will be offered for free for a limited time.
That’s not all. Starting next month Microsoft is also expected to roll out monthly updates for Xbox One once again. It has been doing so throughout this year and only took a break from the monthly updates in December, Xbox One users are likely to be excited about receiving monthly updates once again.
