San Francisco, CA – 360Fashion Network will showcase on Dec 8, 2014 the US film premiere of the epic performance, the “GSMA-360Fashion & Tech Runway Show” which took place in Shanghai, China last June 2014. In China’s first fashion and wearable technology runway show, the film debuts 13 technologies colliding with high-fashion designers showcasing how wearable computing is intersecting with clothing. The event will take place at the Dolby Screening Theater in San Francisco.
“With the collision of wearable technologies and fashion clothing, fashion needs a new way to display technology on the runway. Trade shows and booths must evolve so that a new experiential format can emerge.” Says Anina Net, CEO & Founder of 360Fashion Network.
The Robotic Dress, Laser Dresses, and Misfit Shine Dress designed specifically for the Shanghai runway show by 360Fashion Network in cooperation with Michal Starost – Poland’s leading couture designer, and technologist, Bruce Bateman, will be presented after the film premiere.
There will also be an interactive discussion with thought-leaders from fashion, wearables and technology industries, on “Redefining Fashion in the 21st Century”.
“It’s time to redefine what is high-fashion. Will high-fashion of the future be defined by only it’s design, or will it be defined by the technology enabling it?” asks Anina Net.
The event is organized by 360Fashion Network and sponsored by GSMA and Dolby Laboratories. The panel discussion is sponsored by Hanergy Holding Group, and the event is supported by MobileMonday, Wearable World, Ubergizmo, and PingWest.
