Just as the teaser photo suggested, the X5 Max is indeed a very thin device with a thickness of just 4.75mm. While some users might appreciate such a thin handset, there are others who might not and might be wondering if such a thin device would be hard to hold, not to mention the durability.
As far as its specs are concerned, the Vivo X5 Max will feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution. The phone will also support dual SIMs with one slot for a micro SIM and the other will be a nano SIM. Alternatively the nano SIM slot can be used to store a microSD card if not in use.
Under the hood the Vivo X5 Max will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Cortex A53 CPU and a 1GHz quad-core Cortex A53 64-bit CPU. There will be 2GB of RAM accompanying the phone, 16GB of onboard storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the Funtouch UI running on it. The Vivo X5 Max will be going on sale come 22nd of December for roughly $485.
