All good things must come to an end, and even diamonds, which are supposed to be forever, can end up getting lost or stolen along the way, which dispels the notion of anything permanent on this side of life. Heck, the same can be said of The Colbert Report, where there is only one more show left to go – and just in case you do not want to live out the rest of your life in regret of never making it to be part of the live audience, fret not – the folks over at Google have managed to offer you the chance to go on a virtual tour of the studio.
This is made possible thanks to a partnership with Google, where the inner sanctum of Stephen’s studio has been brought to life in a virtual format, where you can check it out on Google Maps Streetview. Not only that, those who are curious and would like to kill a cat will also be on the receiving end of several bonuses, including being able to learn more concerning the plethora of Stephen’s items, including his famous portrait.
Stephen did mention that “everything will be shredded and sold as industrial meat filler to a national fast-food chain”, so you might as well take five and spend some time there virtually before it is consigned to the ashes of history.
