SoundCloud is a very popular music streaming and sharing service that’s available for free to anyone and everyone. It is particularly popular with cover artists, and naturally, SoundCloud has a large active monthly user base. In order to improve the user experience for millions of people who use SoundCloud through a web browser, the company today announced a new feature called Collection.
It says that Collection was designed to make it easier for users to build their own home on the web for their favorite audio and music. Users will be able to follow artists, like playlists and tracks through the improved web experience.
Personal and Private Collection will only be available straight away on the web and iPhone app but SoundCloud promises that an updated version of its Android app is going to be released at some point in 2015 with these features tucked in.
Playback of liked tracks will begin in the order in which they have been liked, until and unless you don’t use the Likes shuffle to mix things up.
SoundCloud users can get their Collection by heading to https://soundcloud.com/you/collection. The process shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes and it will let you hear your favorite songs for endless amounts of time through just one single click.
