Samsung is one of the companies that will be out in full force at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 in Las Vegas during the first week of January. The company is going to show off a lot of consumer electronic products, including but not limited to Windows powered PCs. It has announced today that the Series 9 notebook 2015 edition will be shown off at the industry event, expect the device to go on sale shortly after.
This is not the only Windows powered PC that Samsung has in store for us at CES 2015. Samsung also confirmed today that it will launch a Windows 8.1 All-in-One PC which will have a 27-inch curved display. The company is bringing curved displays to its AiOs after having given the same treatment to televisions, smartphones and smartwatches.
The latest version of Samsung’s Series 9 notebook line is claimed to be the company’s thinner and lightest notebook ever. With an Intel Core M 5Y10C processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and a 12.2-inch display with 2,560x,1600 pixel resolution it comes it at just 950g in weight and is only 11.8mm thick.
Samsung is going to start selling the new notebook through its website in the coming week. The company hasn’t confirmed pricing so far but it might reveal that information during CES 2015.
