Well if the rumors are right, come 14th of January 2015, that will be when the Galaxy A7 will be seeing its launch. This is according to Korean website Rullweb (via Pocketnow) who said that the handset will be launched first in markets such as China and South Korea. It’s odd that Samsung will choose to launch the phone after CES, but perhaps Samsung wants the attention focused on the device.
It is unclear if the Galaxy A7 will see a release stateside, but given that the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 have made their way to the US, we can only assume that the Galaxy A7 will eventually find its way to the states as well. In the meantime for those who might have missed out on the rumored specs, here’s a quick rundown.
The Galaxy A7 is said to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display. It will be powered by an octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat with a full metal build, similar to the other Galaxy A handsets.
