Any decent modern day hardware deserves to be on the receiving end of a software or firmware update from time to time – it is the only way that the hardware will be able to remain relevant and keep up with the times, this is for sure. Well, most of the time the kind of firmware that rolls out would ensure that it works just fine, resulting in more fixes than breaking the hardware, but there are some hiccups along the way from time to time. Sony’s PS4 is touted to be on the receiving end of a brand new software update, where we were treated to some pretty vague content description over Twitter.
The tweet read, “ PS4 system software update v2.03 arrives later tonight, and will help improve usage of some applications.” Right, so we will see some applications’ usage improve, but certainly shedding more light on the situation would help instead of leaving the PS4 community to perform their fair share of second guessing. Having said that, we can only speculate that this might mean the improvement of the performance when it comes to social features such as Party, which tends to end in a bad experience when certain games are played.
