Apart from that, Pegatron also mentioned that it has put in place strict training for all of its employees and management, while employing external inspectors to audit its facilities. BBC One did reveal multiple instances of poor treatment of workers on one particular production line, which is not necessarily a representation of the other production lines, where hidden cameras allegedly show off various infractions that are in opposition to Apple’s very own Supplier Responsibility report, such as illegal ID card confiscation, working hours that are longer than normal, destitute living conditions, and underage workers.
