I would like to think that this was just in the pipeline, waiting to happen simply because the reason to exists. What am I referring to? Why, Markus “Notch” Persson’s $70 million purchase of what is deemed to be the most expensive home in Beverly Hills, having gone through a recreation in where else but Minecraft, the very game that made “Notch” insanely wealthy in the first place.
According to Dan Bovey, he wanted to ensure that it was possible to recreate Notch’s mansion shot-for-shot, and he has also mentioned that the download for this super expensive mansion will be made available over on his page at Planet Minecraft in due time. Just in case you are still scratching your head and wondering what Minecraft is all about, it happens to be one of the to video game hits of all time, where Notch reportedly sold his game, Minecraft, as well as his studio, Mojang, for an alleged $2.5 billion to Microsoft, having left the company shortly after. What a way to go out, don’t you think so? With more than $2 billion to play around, I am quite sure that $70 million is not going to be too much of a hassle to pony up in the first place.
