No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA Can Tell If You’re A Bot

Captchas are one of the more irritating things about the Internet, but I guess you can also classify them to be some sort of necessary evil, so to speak. After all, it does do its bit to eliminate the amount of potential spam in the long run. However, there is something annoying about trying to figure out the warped combination of letters and figures which can be pretty difficult to decipher for a human even at times, which is why Google intends to shake things up with their brand new “No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA”.

The No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA is said to be able to instantly figure out if you’re a bot or not, using what they call a “risk analysis engine” which will take into consideration the various nuances of an Internet user – including one’s IP address as well as the movements of your mouse cursor. Should you fail to pass the test (or rather, fool the system), then you will be redirected to the tried and tested CAPTCHA. It would be interesting to see just what kind of computer user would be able to “fool” the No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA though.
