Nexus 9’s Magic Cover Now Being Sold By HTC

If you are planning on picking up the Google Nexus 9 tablet for yourself, you might also be considering getting a case or cover for it to help protect its screen. Well if you’re in the market for such an accessory, you might be pleased to learn that HTC has started to sell their Magic Cover for the Nexus 9.

Users who pop onto HTC’s website will be able to order one for themselves where it is priced at $39.99 each. Unfortunately at the moment the only color they are offering is a Coral Amethyst finish, although back then it was announced that the color options would include black, mint indigo, and lime stone.

We expect the other colors will eventually make its way into the HTC store, but if Coral Amethyst is fine by you, you can go right ahead and place your order. For those unfamiliar with HTC’s Magic Cover, it is essentially like the iPad’s Smart Cover. It will attach to the Nexus 9 tablet via magnets to help secure itself.

However unlike the Smart Cover, the Magic Cover offers more foldability as even the edges can be folded down. It can also be rolled up and used as a kickstand for the tablet itself. So, anyone planning on picking one up for themselves?
