In just a few days the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 gets underway in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is one of the biggest industry events in this part of the world where companies from different companies come together to show new products and technology. HTC will be making some announcements during the event as well and a teaser posted by the company today hints at a new Desire handset that might be unveiled at CES 2015.
The teaser that HTC posted today carries the date on which this announcement is going to be made along with the tagline “Always Desire more,” and its pretty evident from the get go that this is a subtle hint towards an upcoming HTC smartphone.
The Desire lineup doesn’t really consist of really high-end devices so expect the new handset to fit in the same bracket as well. It will probably be a mid-range device presumably with Android 5.0 Lollipop installed straight out of the box.
No additional details about this smartphone are known at this point in time so there are no rumored specifications to share or leaked product images that we can all gawk at. Thankfully CES 2015 isn’t that far away anymore so we’ll find out all of the official details about this smartphone in a few days time.
