It was just yesterday that we heard about Google rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Moto 360 smartwatch. That particular update was meant to lay down the groundwork for a new generation of watchfaces, and if you happen to be a proud owner of the Moto 360 from Motorola, and have yet to enjoy the update, fret not – it is not you, it is rather that Motorola has revised the Android 5.0 Lollipop’s update release to a later time.
In fact, Motorola does expect for all Moto 360 smartwatches to have their respective updates arrive before the week is over. Motorola has also spelled it out in no uncertain terms that one is unable to “cheat” in this aspect, as the cannot force the update via any manual process, which means one will just have to live out one of the major virtues in life, and that would be patience, of course. Motorola has not released anything formal at the moment as to why the update has experienced a delay, but it could very well be connected to a fix for the off-center watchface issue that has plagued several Moto 360s in the past. It is hoped that those who will receive the new update by this week would no longer experience such a glitch.
