Over the past couple of years, HTC has done a good job at impressing us with their One series of handsets in the form of the HTC One M7 from 2013 and the HTC One M8 from earlier this year. That being said we’re sure many are excited to see what HTC could bring to the table in 2015, which according to the rumors could come in the form of the HTC “Hima” (which we’re assuming is its codename).
So far we’ve heard some rumors regarding its specs, but now thanks to a post by @upleaks, potential color options for the HTC “Hima” have been revealed. According to @upleaks, the Hima will be offered in gray, silver, and gold, color options which admittedly sound a lot like the options offered by Apple, although we’re wondering how it could look like on a HTC phone.
In terms of hardware, here’s a quick recap on its specs in case you missed it. The rumors have suggested that we could be looking at a 5-inch Full HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset under the hood powering the handset. It is also expected to be accompanied by 3GB of RAM, a 20.7MP rear-facing camera, and a 2,840mAh battery.
Oddly enough the Hima seems to be missing some “key” features, like the UltraPixel technology for its camera that HTC has introduced to its HTC One M7 and One M8. Also what’s strange is the fact that HTC is still going with Full HD when OEMs are starting to transition to QHD, but then again these are rumors so do take it with a grain of salt for now.
