Yesterday we reported that Blizzard had finally released their free digital card game Hearthstone for Android tablets. However as we noted, the initial released was limited to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, with Blizzard stating that they expect a global rollout in the next few days. Well the good news is that according to reports, that rollout has already begun.
There have been reports from users in the US and from those in other countries that they have been able to download the game for their Android tablet. If you do not live in Australia, New Zealand, or Canada, perhaps now might be a good time to check out the Google Play Store to see if Hearthstone’s download is available for you guys right now.
As for the mobile phone version of the game, that is something that Blizzard is still working on at the moment and is expected to be released in 2015. Hearthstone for Android tablets will also include the latest expansion – Goblins vs Gnomes – which was originally announced at BlizzCon 2014 back in November.
Gamers who are interested in getting their hands on the game can do so by heading on over to the Google Play Store or the Amazon Appstore for the download. In the meantime if any of our readers can confirm the game’s availability stateside, let us know in the comments below!
