In case you haven’t heard by now, Sony Pictures was hacked and it looks like the hackers are refusing to give up. The hackers had previously sent the employees at Sony Pictures threatening messages and in their latest demand, have warned Sony Pictures to pull The Interview, or else.
For those unfamiliar, The Interview is a movie starring Seth Rogen and James Franco and it’s about how the characters in the movie make their way into North Korea to assassinate Kim Jong-Un. Safe to say when the movie was first announced, North Korea was not too pleased about it and made threats of their own.
However when Sony Pictures was hacked, North Korea denied their involvement although at the same time they praised the hackers’ efforts. While there has been some evidence that the hack came from North Korea, it was recently revealed that at least one of the attacks came out of Bangkok, Thailand.
In a message sent to Sony Pictures by the hackers, it reads, “We are sending you our warning again. Do carry out our demand if you want to escape us. And, Stop immediately showing the movie of terrorism which can break the regional peace and cause the War!” What do you guys think? Will Sony give in to the hackers’ demands?
