Google Maps Delivers Lane Guidance Across The Pond

Let’s see, what other interesting things have popped up over the weekend concerning developments that are happening across the pond? For starters, we have the LG G3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update released in Europe – but what other developments are there? Apparently, Google Maps’ Lane Guidance feature is now released in that part of the Old World, too. Lane Guidance was first introduced in Google Maps earlier this year in May, although it did not make the cut when it came to the Europe version.

Not anymore though, as Google Maps has at long last, thrown in lane guidance to be part of the mix for potentially confused European drivers. This unique feature will first make its way to users over in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Ireland, where this particular feature can be activated simply by enabling turn-by-turn navigation – it does not matter whether you are using the iOS or Android app.
