It seems that in this day and age, visuals that come in High Definition quality are certainly in demand, or more or less expected. Having said that, we have caught whiff that development on a 1080p/ 60 fps remake of Halo 3: ODST has already kicked off over at Microsoft. Once completed, this particular game will be part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, when the latter is released.
This particular bit of information was gleaned from a segment of 343 Industries’ thank you letter, where this particular letter targeted those who had to put up with launch issues which surrounded Halo: The Master Chief Collection. We did mention earlier that Halo 3: ODST will be offered for free, but did not notice that it would be a souped up version, where your eyes will be able to feast on 1080p resolution with the game running at an extremely smooth 60fps.
Basically, it will be available within Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and will be offered to those who have already played the game from launch and until December 19, without having to fork out a single cent. Certainly this is one of the better “compensation” packages that we have come across, and there is nothing quite like a show of sincerity by piling on the free stuff, right?
