final-fantasy-0-hdAt the end of October this year, the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD trailer was released, letting you check out just what there is in store for avid fans of the series. Well, it seems that all of that long waiting has finally come to fruition, as we have received confirmation that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be on the receiving end of its very own Collector’s Edition. Of course, being a Collector’s Edition means it will be available in limited quantities, and if you are interested, you will be able to lock in your order for $99.99 a pop.

Just what will this Collector’s Edition come with? For starters, it will have a golden Steel Book case which features veteran Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano’s work – the goddesses of Orience. Within, there is the Japanese kanji for the game title: 零, or “Rei,” which means “zero,” and 式, or “shiki,” with the meaning “type.”

In the Steel Book itself, it will hold the game disc alongside a 15-track collection of songs that have been specially hand-picked by the game’s composer. As for the included 200 page manga, it will let you delve deeper into the characters, accompanied by an 80 page art book. To top it all off, the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Collector’s Edition will feature five life-size replicas of the iconic cards that Ace held in the promotional materials, where the fronts will boast of illustrations of the Type-0 Eidolons: Odin, Ifrit, Shiva, Diabolos, and naturally, Bahamut.
