The PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas brought us some great announcements. It was during the event that we found out Final Fantasy 7 is coming to the PlayStation 4. At that point the price for this title was not confirmed but Square Enix has done that today. Final Fantasy 7 price for PlayStation 4 is $16.
There has been a lot of debate over this title ever since it was confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 is making its way to the PlayStation 4. Many would have rightly expected it to be a remastered version but the reality is far, far away from that.
Final Fantasy 7 for PS4 is actually a port of the version which has already been available on the PC for more than a few years now. So gamers will essentially be paying $16 for a game that they might have played on the PC when it first come out.
Even though Square Enix has confirmed the price, it is yet to reveal when this port will be released on the PlayStation 4. So far a concrete release date has not been announced, only a vague timeframe has been provided, expect this game to land around spring 2015.
