ASUS VivoMini Shown Off

It was in September this year that we made mention of the ASUS VivoMini being revealed, where we did learn that it will feature a $149 price tag over in the U.S., alongside an Intel Haswell processor running at the heart of things while boasting of support for the Windows 8.1 operating system. Well, it seems that additional light has been shed on the rest of the hardware specifications for the ASUS VivoMini, not to mention the various configuration options made available for those who are interested.

It is tipped that the ASUS VivoMini will arrive in at least 4 different variants. For starters, there will be a barebones VivoMini UN42, or the barebones VivoMini UN42 with the Celeron 2957U processor, that will be accompanied by 2GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, and Windows 8.1 with Bing. Alternatively, you can also pick from the barebones VivoMini UN62 that carries either an Intel Core i3-4030U or Intel Core i5-4210U processor. Shared hardware specifications include 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, an SDXC memory card reader, a couple of USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort output.
