Alleged Sony Xperia E4 Photos Leaked, Shows Off Thinner Bezels
Back in September this year, Sony announced the Xperia E3 and assuming Sony is following that trend, we could expect an Xperia E4 next year, but could it be a bit too soon to start talking about a successor? Well if leaked photos are any indication, it looks like Sony could have already begun to work on the device.
Polish website Teleguru (via PhoneArena) have recently posted several photos that they allege is that of the Sony Xperia E4. Assuming the photos are accurate, it is a marked departure from the Sony Xperia E3. The Xperia E3 was a low-end handset that looked like any smartphone, but the design of the Xperia E4 says otherwise.
As you can see in the image, Sony has drastically shrunk the bezels in the Xperia E4, giving it a sleeker and more polished look, at least compared to the Xperia E3 which looked like it could have been a phone launched back in 2012. However like we said, there’s no way of knowing if this is the real deal, so take it with a grain of salt for now.
As far as its specs are concerned, the Xperia E4 is said to feature a 5-inch 540×960 display, a step up from the 4.5-inch display of the Xperia E3. It will also be powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled. The rumors are also suggesting that we could be looking at a possible launch at MWC 2015 which is taking place early March.
