With every release of a new Galaxy S phone from Samsung, many have high hopes for the device. While the Galaxy S5 is not a bad phone in any way, it did not exactly sell as much as Samsung had hoped. In fact we heard that Samsung sold 40% less than what they had anticipated.
This is why reports of Samsung approaching the Galaxy S6 with a completely new vision makes sense. Previous Galaxy S devices have been made largely out of plastic but according to rumors the Galaxy S6 could sport a metal design, and now thanks to leaked images from French website nowhereelse.fr (via BGR) seem to “confirm” that.
Nowhereelse has managed to get their hands on what appears to be photos that are that of the upcoming Galaxy S6, showing off its metal build. Of course since we don’t know the final design of the Galaxy S6, it’s hard to tell if these photos are the real deal, but at the same time we are certainly hoping that it is.
Samsung has attempted metal builds with the Galaxy A series of handsets so to think that Samsung could be applying that experience to the Galaxy S6 is not a stretch of the imagination. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but be sure to check back with us at a later date for the details.
