It can be rather difficult to keep a secret in this day and age – and when it comes to upcoming smartphones that have yet to hit the market, companies do their utmost best to keep things under wraps until the official unveiling, although there are moments when one would actually leak details on purpose in advance in order to drum up interest. Well, we have picked up on our radar alleged specs of an upcoming HTC A12 mid-range smartphone via @upleaks, where this unannounced smartphone is set for a February 2015 release.
Just what kind of hardware will the HTC A12 pack underneath the hood? For starters, it will come with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset with 1.2GHz quad-core CPU alongside 1GB RAM, not to mention a talked about 4.7” HD display, where that ought to make this smartphone fit into the overall hierarchy of things at HTC right under the 5″ HTC Desire 620.
Apart from that, there will be an 8MP shooter at the back with a 1.3MP front-facing camera, not to mention HTC Sense running on top of Android 4.4 KitKat. Ah well, we will just have to wait until there is an official announcement to finalize all the details, otherwise do take what you have read above with a grain of salt.
